Bogotá International
Violin Competition 2027

The Bogotá International Violin Competition is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá, led by the Secretariat of Culture, Recreation and Sport, the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo. It was conceived as a high-level international platform for the promotion and development of young violinists.

Following a first edition that brought together participants from 30 countries and established Bogotá as an international stage for classical music, the Competition returns in 2027, further strengthening its artistic, educational, and international mission.
